Cindy and Ross

Shooting at the Dragonfly Retreat is always exciting!  This weekend I had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of Cindy and Ross, a beautiful and fun-loving couple who met on an airplane years ago.  I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed such a creative and entertaining ceremony, complete with references to The Princes Bride, a serenade of the Bride by the groomsmen, and witty self written vows.  Not to mention cue cards for both the Groom and the audience held by two lovely ladies!  I wish them both a long and happy life together!  I’d also like to thank my second shooter, Saskia Mizushima, for taking such awesome photos!

Angela and Jason

This weekend I was lucky enough to work with Saskia M. Photography as a second shooter, and document the wedding of Angela and Jason.  I had a wonderful time, and captured some great moments.  The wedding took place at Magnolia park, and the reception at The Canal in Ballard.  Check out the photos!

 

Kristen and Dave

     Kristen and Dave’s wedding was alive with colorful parasols and bright red accents; perfect for a 90 degree day!  The ceremony overlooked lake union from Gasworks park, and afterwards everyone gathered at the Mountlake community center to celebrate.  It wasn’t hard to coax guest on the dance floor despite the lack of air conditioning!  I’d like to thank my second shooter Jonathan Steinberg for his help documenting the event.  Enjoy!

Baby Gabriella

     6 week old Gabriella was an angel during her first photo shoot.  We made a comfy bed for her in the grass, and captured some wonderful photos.  Lincoln Park in West Seattle is one of my favorite places to take pictures.  It’s huge and not too crowded, with a great boardwalk along the water.  

Felicia and Andy

I love West Seattle!  I took engagement pictures of Felicia and Andy at the Junction this week, and we had a blast.  Thank you Easy Street for letting us take some great pics in your store!

Becky and Eric’s Wedding

Becky and Eric tied the knot in the church that Becky grew up in this Saturday.  The place was packed with family and friends, and the rain let up just long enough for us to get some great shots outside.  All of the beer at the reception was made by the best man, and the cake was created by Becky’s talented aunt.  The reception was held at the Conway Muse, a local bar and event space that the owner has spent the last 5 years putting together.  I loved it!

Vickie and Dave Engaged!

Have I mentioned lately that I love my job?  I was able to spend the afternoon at the beach with Vickie, Dave, and there beautiful golden retiriever for an engagement shoot.  The sun was low and the moody gray clouds made for some great photos.  Take a look….

Play date with Isabel

      What a great way to spend the afternoon!  Isabel and I spent time at a local park enjoying the sun and playing on the monkey bars.  She had picked out a great outfit, and was ready for her fashion shoot!  I just let her be herself, and documented ever moment of it.  Check out the pics!

Engagement Season!

    It’s that time of year again when I’m very busy meeting new couples and taking engagement pics!  Here are a few shots from my latest shoot at the Space Needle.  The weather lately has been unreal!  I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that the sunshine sticks around for a while.

Becky and Eric

     I had the privilege of spending last weekend with a wonderful couple from Conway WA.  We headed down to Post Alley in Seattle to get some great shots of them together before they make things official.  Having engagement photos taken is a great way to get to know your photographer before the big day.
